DreamStar Ladies FC of Lagos celebrates 5 years of existence in Lagos.
The Lagos based NWFL Championship Club, clocked five years, today.
DreamStar Ladies popularly known as the Pride of Lagos was established on Monday, 28th of January, 2017, as amateur club, and has progressed through ladder by winning the NWFL Amateur League in Abuja, 2017, the NWFL Pro League (now Championship) in Edo, 2018.
The Pride of Lagos got promoted as winners of the Southern Conference after defeating all opponents to clinch the NWFL Premiership ticket.
in his anniversary remarks, the Chairman of the Club, Mr. Abolore AbdulRahmon said: “we are proud of what we have achieved over these years, we have been consistent”.
He noted that: “DreamStar Ladies has produced top talents who now play in the national teams (both U20 and U17) for Nigeria, and this should highlight our achievement over the last 5 years”.
from his part, Coach Ayinla Rasheed thanked the club for the opportunity to be part of the history of the club, one of the best clubs in Lagos state and in Nigeria”.
With successful seasons in the top flight from 2018/2019 season, DreamStar Ladies has become a force in the Nigeria Women’s Football sphere.
