With just few days into the 2022 NWFL Championship season, DremaStar Ladies FC of Lagos have concluded arrangements for a successful outing in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
The Pride of Lagos as they are fondly called announced registration of 26 players who would do the club proud in their bid to return to the elite league.
According to the statement released by the Club Secretary, Mrs Oladoja Oluwatoyin: “we must give glory to God for the level of preparation we had in the build to this championship”.
“The challenges ahead are huge and we must live up to the expectations of our fans” she stated.
The club tasked the players to concentrate on the matches for a fruitful outing against Honey Baggers, Ibom Angels, Oasis Ladies and Royaltoms Queens in group A.
This season Galacticas include: Yinusa Zainab (the Captain), Owoseni Bukola, Adebayo Jumai, Omoraka Endurance, Omiyoola Ayotunde and Laniran Kate.
Others are:
Goalkeepers: Heritage Ibrahim and Akindele Juliana.
Defenders:
Attah Kemisola, Eboigbe Susan, Akanji Kaosarat, Towolawo Toyosi Mustapha Alaba, Ibo Faustina and Orji Beatrice.
Midfielders:
Omotosho Temitope, Mary Opara, Muftau Nofisat, Sanni Kehinde, Bakare Mariam, Seid Mutiat and Ajadi Blessing.
Forwards:
Anifowose Khadijat, Idowu Omoboriowo and Bakare Mariam.
It is worthy of note that DreamStar Ladies got relegated last on goal difference during the NWFL Premiership playoffs in Benin, Edo State.
